On Easter Sunday, both Blue Highway locations were closed to allow the staff to spend the holiday with their families. For those staff members with no Easter plans, our wonderful owners, Frank and Winny, organized a “Spring Fling” staff party at Ginnie Springs.
The morning was spent with chef Frank working the grill as he kept burgers and bratwurst coming for the hungry staff members that showed up to enjoy a fun day together. Everyone contributed what they could, bringing side dishes, beverages, and even sports equipment so a few friendly games of volleyball could be enjoyed. It was an amazing opportunity to relax and have fun together, and it provided a chance for members of the two stores to get to know each other better.
Even though they had never met before, members from the Tioga and Micanopy store got along great as they joked around with each other on the volleyball court and while floating down the river on tubes and rafts. It was an amazing, sun-and-fun-filled day, and we hope that all of our wonderful customers spent their Easter holiday enjoying their day as well. We were all very grateful for the day to spend with our families and with each other.
